Challenge
Beezy was building a digital workplace platform to extend SharePoint and Office 365 with social collaboration capabilities.
The challenge was to make highly complex enterprise intranets usable, scalable, and adoptable by large organizations with thousands of employees, strict governance, and heterogeneous user roles.
Traditional SharePoint intranets suffered from low adoption, poor findability, and excessive cognitive load. Beezy needed to solve these UX issues without breaking technical, security, or organizational constraints.
Key objectives
Make enterprise intranets understandable and usable for everyday employees
Encourage participation and collaboration, not just content consumption
Design a flexible information architecture adaptable to different organizations
Seamlessly integrate a social layer into SharePoint-based environments
Enable client intranets to feel closer to a modern website than a legacy corporate tool
